You don’t have to fight for a sun lounger (in my experience) and you also get food and drinks delivered straight to your lounger!!! They are comfortable and most of them have all day sunshine so no need to move around! There are also 2 pools both kept very tidy and clean, suitable for both children and adults.

I recommend getting bus or taxi into Rhodes town instead of walking, only costs 10 euros for a taxi.

There are great bars and restaurants nearby (whispers which is next door) (The Velon Pool Bar) and a little further up there is (Glory Days FBI sports bar). Additionally, the hotel isn’t too far away from ixia beach. As well as this, the food was of a reasonable price and there was a large variety of foods to chose from too! I would also like to add you could eat and drink all day as the pool bar allowed tabs, this was great as it meant we could keep our money in the safe until the end of the day. The chicken gyro platter and pita wrap in particular were great! Even the presentation of the food was amazing. There was not a single meal that I did not enjoy eating, which is important for me as I am a very fussy eater. But the powerhouse singer-bassist of retro-rock band Shannon & The Clams. We also had free wifi access which probably has the best connection compared to any hotel I’ve stayed in prior. Like, they would drop down and dangle in my face as a baby, or theyd get in my bed. The rooms are very clean and well organised. The only thing we had to buy was aircon which was necessary and a cheap cost for the week. The room was HUGE and we had everything that we needed. All of the staff I met from reception, kitchen, pool and pool bar were excellent! Secondly, we stayed on the top floor, we were the only room on this floor and the view was incredible. For example, one day we missed breakfast and a female waitress came up to me and asked what I would like, she brought over a whole breakfast meal for us both which was incredible, she didn’t have to do this as it was our fault that we missed breakfast but again, staff are always going above and beyond to ensure all visitors are well looked after. The staff are phenomenal, very friendly and attentive. My boyfriend and I stayed in Katia Hotel from May 31st to June 7th and all we can do is provide praise.
